About Us

WELCOME TO Mini Highland Family

In 2020, my brother and I, along with our families, left behind the sun-kissed hills of Ajaccio, Corsica, France, to chase a dream in the United States. We traded the Mediterranean coastline for the vast plains of America, seeking a new beginning and a chance to share our passion for Mini Highland cows with the world.

After careful consideration, we chose the Midwest as our new home. My brother settled in Missouri, while I made Sheridan, Indiana, my base. Together, we occupy a stunning 950-acre ranch, where we’ve created a haven for our beloved Mini Highland herd.

We’re not just breeding cattle; we’re spreading joy, one calf at a time. Our mission is to share the unique charm of Mini Highlands with families and farms across the country.
These gentle giants have captured our hearts, and we’re dedicated to introducing them to as many people as possible.
Breeding for love and passion, we’re committed to preserving the integrity and beauty of this incredible breed. It’s a labor of love, and we’re thrilled to be part of this journey with our families by our side.

As we build our Mini Highland ranch, we’re excited to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share our knowledge, and welcome new families into the fold. Join us on this adventure, and let’s spread the joy of Mini Highlands far and wide! 🌟
Our mission is centered around raising Micro and Miniature Scottish Highlands, ensuring that they possess exceptional genetics and gentle dispositions.

WHY WE ARE BEST

Our cattle enjoy miles and miles of luscious grass, blue skies, and open range while still interacting with us daily. Whether it’s putting out salt and mineral, checking their water, or spoiling them with cattle cake, these animals are our way of life. Calves are required to be picked up/delivered by 6 months of age. If unable to do so, we are able to provide continued calf care for $2/day until pick up/delivery.

Miniature cattle are great for small acreages. They can be anywhere to 1/2 or even 1/3 the size of standard cattle, so, therefore, require less feed and land. We encourage the ration of one miniature cow per ½ to 1-acre grass with good quality hay during the winter months.
